Journey Home to Your Heart

A Guided Women’s Vision Quest in Central Massachusetts

September 18-28, 2008

For millennia, our ancestors on all continents have spent ceremonial time away from the community, alone in the local natural landscape. This Women’s Journey follows the tradition of our ancestors, but with a contemporary approach. The program offered here will unfold over 11 days and provides the opportunity for a small group of women to journey together, through community gatherings and solitary time, in a way that will help each participant “re-member” her deepest passions and heart longings. Together, we will track our inner and outer landscapes, finding healing, restoration, and rejuvenation. This program is limited to 5-8 women, so please register early. $500 covers food, lodging at the Earthlands Retreat Center, and land use fees. Guides are compensated for their time and expertise through participant donations. For more information, download a flyer here. I participated last October in the Women's VisionQuest guided by Anna Coffman (from the Third Circle), and Cary Gaunt. I can only tell you that this was one of the most powerful experiencs of my lifetime. Anna and Cary, both very well trained in this work, made it safe, deep and sacred. It felt like a beautiful outgrowth and deepening of the kind of things that The Women's Well has always been about. I recommend it highly.

The Mystery School

This longer-term program provides a context for working together in a sacred circle and deepening personal spiritual practices, as well as attuning to the shifting con-sciousness and new ways of being in the world that we are called into during this time of profound global change.
This circle works with ancient wisdom and healing traditions (including shamanism, astrology and herbalism), as well as art, creative expression, divination and ritual, to deepen connections with the sacred feminine, the elements (earth, air, fire and water), and the ancient sacred times of year (the equinoxes, solstices and cross-quarter holidays). It focuses on personal transformation, a deep bond as a sacred circle, and on the healing of the Earth.
